The Last Supper - BSG style

I love these tv interpretations of classic artworks.  Especially when it's all about such an important serious (if you've seen it, you know what I mean in the way it uses science fiction to talk about modern day issues - without getting complaints)

Love it

Watchmen 5 cast members

Snyder has just posted some character shots of 5 of the watchmen cast.  And I must say, they are pretty good representations.  Although Silk Spectre looks a little spandexy, but then, that's what she was like in the comic book, so i'll go with the flow.

Fingers crossed for it to be good.

Where In the World Is Osama Bin Laden? - Trailer

I don't know what it is about him, but Morgan Spurlock seems to be one of those interesting documentary makers.  And I don't often say that, especially as the thought of watching Michael Moore sends shivers up, down, and around my spine.  No, Spurlock makes interesting documentaries, and important topics, keeping it fun and entertaining.

If you have not seen his work before, try 'Super Size Me' on americas fast food culture.  Or his TV series 30 days, where individuals move to completely different lives to understand the situations of others (I know this sounds like wifeswap, but it isn't, for example, one of the episodes a mans job was outsources to india, so, he moved to India and reapplied for his job.  It was shocking to see not only the risks the workers take in their days, but also the pride they have in telemarketing).

Whilst I will not suggest going to the cinema to watch a documentary, you should definately watch it at soe point.

Wolverine: Cast additions

Okay, wolvering news.  We have 3 new potential chast members, Reynolds as Deadpool (below), Gambit (hooray).  And rapper Will.I.Am (umm, okay).  I have no qualms with it being an ensemble cast, but please dont make it a stupid buddy movie.  We all want something a little darker than x-men, with dark humour.

Fingers crossed

Watchmen still

An awesome new image from the new watchmen film, I am still apprehensive, as it is one of the best graphic novels out there.  Will it be a good film, or a little bit of a watch it look cool, then forget about it like I am afraid to say 300 was!  I enjoyed it, but wasn't aghast by it.
