Trailer: Legion

Okay, this trailer is a bit long, and for a trailer, its definately red band. I love some of the ideas behind, this, Paul Bettany for one has great potential, I mean look at his variety of films ranging from wimbledon to dogville, he just needs a starring role in something special. Could this be it, i'm not so sure, but it will get headlines. Making the angel gabriel (and potential the rest of heaven, and even god himself) the bad guy is always interesting, and will god complaints no matter how its played, so free publicity for all.

To put blunt this trailer is: action, horror, angels of death, christ reborn, man exploding, scary old lady

So if any may scare you, don't watch the damned thing, you have been warned.

Trailer: The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Now this has me very excited. I am of course a fan of Terry Gilliam, from the surreal comic strip age, through to his surreal science fiction/fantasy, and now onto his surreal, well, thing. I am not entirely sure as to what this trailer was telling me. It has action, some stars, special effects, but as for plot and those intricate ideas so common in Gilliams pieces, I could not work out what was happening.

Fingers crossed, as the cast are one hell of a mix, whilst I don't want to harp on over the Heath Ledger story, the new actors that were brought in look the part, and will certainly add a nice depth and intrigue to that character.
