Hmm, whether this is a good or (most probably) a bad thing it's still happening. Ghost in the Shell is being remade in CGI by dreamworks (with some backing from Mr Spielberg himself). Now, I loved the films, and to a certain degree, I enjoyed even more the TV series that followed, due to it's intelligent story arc.
